Showcase: Bipolia (GR)

Bipolia is a singer-songwriter and street performer who began sharing her music while busking in the streets of London five years ago. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, her primary instrument and source of inspiration is the electric guitar.
At 19, she moved to London, where she started busking, performing at various venues, and producing her own music. For the past four years, she has been based in Athens, where she performs and self-produced her debut album, There, I Said It, released by Veego Records in October 2024.
She has performed at various venues in Athens, such as Gagarin 205, Death Disco, Temple, Faust, and SNFCC. Her performances fuse forceful beats, catchy bass lines, and a dose of attitude and sweat. Her sound ranges from soft indie rock with melodic electronic elements to post-punk, often incorporating spoken word to enhance her storytelling.
Her lyrics explore themes of self-conflict, body and gender identity, dysfunctions, and questions about almost everything.
