DESCRIPTION:Incirrina is a dark electronic  synth duo\, formed in 2017 by George Katsanos and Irini Tiniakou \,based in Athens\, Greece. They have  appeared in several gigs in  Europe (Germany\, France\, Belgium\, The Netherlands\, Croatia\, Slovakia\, Austria\, Czech Republic\, Hungary) \, and in festivals such as “Pliisken Festival” -opening act for “Ambassade”- \,“Athens Digital Arts Festival” (ADAF) \, “Morphic Festival”\, “Cold Transmission Festival” \, “Death Disco Festival-The Warm Up\, also as opening act for “Front 242 “in 2023. Reviews about them : “…the unique blend of analogue electronic instrumentation\, distinct vocal quality\, and band chemistry bring powerful live performances – they have  a totally amazing sound\,with melodies that stick in your mind \, combined with heavy and strong beats and vocals \,that not only reach the listener but also cut through the musical layers\, leaving a lasting impact”. \nThey have released “8.15” (LP 2019\, Geheimnis Records) \,”Utter” (digital maxi single\, 2020) “Devastations/R.Daneel” (split maxi single with “The Man & His Failures – 2021\, Smash Records) \, “Lip Led Scream”(LP 2022\, Cold Transmission) which received enthusiastic  reviews and has been in the list of top albums of 2022 by numerous zines and blogs\, and “Immersion” (digital maxi single\, 2024 \, by Cold Transmission).

DESCRIPTION:Tasos Sotiriou and Leonidas Danezos – both musicians\, sound engineers\, composers\, and sound designers – lived and worked in the UK for more than two decades before moving to Greece\, where they met and formed the music group Superwave. \nUsing the Indian Bul bul Tarang\, the Persian santoor\, the Greek baglamas\, voice\, and analog hardware electronics\, Superwave create original music that combines traditional Eastern elements with break beats\, jungle\, Drum N’ Bass\, and IDM. \nThe duo has toured in Greece and the UK and has released one album titled “Mytilenoise.” \nTheir live show is a ritual where time\, space\, and man-made borders cease to exist.

SUMMARY:Showcase: Reggetiko Project (GR)
DESCRIPTION:Reggetiko Project is a Thessaloniki-based band creating ephemeral musical mosaics featuring ancient and modern instruments. Formed a decade ago\, the band performs original compositions melding folk\, jazz and ancient sounds from east and west of the Mediterranean. Through cinematic improvisational arrangements\, the melodies narrate journeys between a tapestry of diverse cultures interwoven across time reiterating the band’s distinct philosophy and geography: music as a pathway for diverse voices to commune. \nTheir third album `’Albatross`’ features the legendary grammy awarded Bulgarian pianist Milcho Leviev. The music documentary film about their collaboration screened at Santorini film festival. `’Albatross`’was presented on the official European Music Day at the Museum of Mastiha of Chios\, followed by the Concert Hall of Athens (Megaro Mousikis)\, the Keep on Jazz and Beyond Festival of Thessaloniki\, and the Rialto World Music festival in Cyprus. They have toured throughout Greece\, Cyprus\, Istanbul and extensively in Germany.

DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Athens\, Jō began playing piano and singing from a young age and made her first appearance on stage at the age of 17 alongside Greek hip hop artists. Later on\, she formed an acoustic trio with whom she performed pop and rock covers. Fast forward a few years\, and having refined her influences with jazz\, soul and neo-soul sounds\, Jō has released 4 singles and is currently working on her first album with Mellowsophy music\, whom she joined in 2022. DESCRIPTION:Foteini Tryferopoulou is a sound artist based in Athens\, Greece\, whose work moves between music\, memory\, technology and perception. Combining urban soundscapes\, found objects\, electronic textures\, and acoustic instruments\, she creates immersive sonic worlds that blur the line between the familiar and the surreal. Her practice is deeply conceptual and rooted in experimentation\, often exploring narrative\, space\, interaction and the boundaries of listening. \nFoteini works with systems—frequently drawn from outside the musical realm—repurposing them as creative frameworks. Experimentation is central to her process: a space of discovery\, risk\, and transformation. She is interested in the role of technology and artificial intelligence in artistic creation\, in the context of opening dialogues between human and non-human interaction and co-creation. \nHer work has been presented at festivals and venues including the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera\, the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST)\, Studio Loos (Netherlands)\, Goethe-Institut Bukarest\, Technopolis 20 (Cyprus)\, and National Sawdust and the Rockefeller Center in New York as part of the Onassis Foundation USA’s Archive of Desire festival. She has collaborated with artists such as Jeff Zeigler\, Lucy DheGrae\, Miranda Cuckson\, Brandon Patrick George\, among others. \nThrough sound\, Foteini invites audiences to step into altered realities—where time shifts\, stories dissolve\, and perception is gently rearranged.
