SUMMARY:Showcase: Buckwise (IT)
DESCRIPTION:Buckwise is a dream pop and IDM musical project from Puglia\, active since 2018 and constantly evolving. The first album “Turning Point” (La Rivolta Records – 2019) traced the coordinates of an original sound\, contaminating indiefolk-pop with full and layered electro sounds. After a first debut tour\, the band took a new artistic direction\, veering towards a more mature and refined sound where the indietronica attitude merges with synthetic orchestrations and pressing rhythms\, thus creating a dreamlike and engaging atmosphere. The lyrics in English offer an introspective vision of reality\, accompanying the listener on an emotional journey between ethereal melodies and deep reflections. Subsequently they signed a publishing contract with Bonimba by Francesco Cerasi\, composer of soundtracks for important productions (Amazon Prime Video\, BBC\, Rai\, Sky Cinema). In 2023 they joined the roster of Dischi Uappissimi: an independent collective-label with a strong focus on research and musical innovation. The entry into these new artistic families led to the release of new singles on digital platforms\, obtaining excellent feedback from audiences and critics\, also managing to export their live shows beyond national borders at the PROtFest in Bijeljina in Bosnia\, at the Tallinn Music Week 2024 in Estonia\, at the FIMU Belfort 2024 in France and at the prestigious Ypsigrock Festival 2024 and TEDx Barletta 2023. They also shared the stage with artists such as Explosions in the Sky\, Ermal Meta\, Santi Francesi and many others. With their constantly evolving sound and their ability to combine catchy melodies with profound lyrics\, Buckwise released their second studio album “NEON” on November 29\, 2024 via Dischi Uappissimi/Bonimba and distributed by Artist First.

DESCRIPTION:Kos K is the musical persona of Theodoros Kontakos\, an indie and rock songwriter and producer with a deep love for the D.I.Y. aesthetic. With a career spanning over a decade\, Kos K’s music blends electric and folk elements\, characterized by a unique guitar style\, distinctive vocals\, and evocative lyrics. \nHis discography includes the albums Repo (2020)\, 40 Meres (2015)\, Simata Kapnou (2013)\, and Edo Ine To Spiti Mou (2011)\, as well as the EP Kos K (2010)\, featuring tracks such as Mpam – Single Version and Koritsi Tou Mina – Radio Version. His journey of evolution and experimentation in music continues with a new album slated for release in 2024. \nOver the years\, he has performed selectively across Greece and Cyprus\, sharing stages with esteemed artists and bands. He also plays guitar for Sillyboy’s Ghost Relatives and the psychedelic group Villa Boas\, which is now exploring electronic music in its second full-length release. \nAs a producer\, mixer\, and sound engineer\, Kos K has contributed to over 60 albums for artists and bands in the Greek and English-speaking music scenes. \nPou Pame Lege is the debut single from his highly anticipated upcoming album\, an indie rock gem infused with folk elements\, reflecting post-quarantine uncertainty through compelling vocals. Recently\, he also released the acoustic singles Nero Ki Alati\, En Kinisi\, I Rota\, and 8i Mera. \nCurrently\, Kos K is finalizing To Mellon\, a double album featuring eight electric and eight acoustic tracks that showcase the duality of his artistry.

Her style embodies the romanticism of an avant-garde rembetissa\, blending traditional influences with a contemporary twist and speaking boldly about what others remain silent on. \nBeyond music\, Billie also oversees pre-production\, production supervision\, poster design\, costumes\, styling\, directing\, and editing for all her video clips. \nHer debut album\, San Kyria (2018)\, was recorded in an Athens basement\, fusing rawness with deep emotion. DESCRIPTION:Bahía Sónica was born in 2016 in La Serena\, Chile. Since 2021 based in Barcelona\, Spain. \nTheir first ep “En Pulsos” was released in 2018. \nKnown for their hypnotical sound that blends house beats and downtempo with groovy bass lines over psychedelic guitars. \nThe duo has performed on both Chilean and international Festival stages\, during their European tour they visited LA OLA ELECTRÓNICA Festival (Nüremberg\, Germany)\, Falkon (Weimar\, Germany)\, Cannes Foundation (Paris\, France) and being part of the underground scene in Barcelona since they moved the HQ to the spanish city in 2021. \nTheir live shows are magnetic and invite you to an audiovisual trip that arouses nostalgic emotions\, mixed with feelings of euphoria that often trigger dancing. \nTheir music is available on streaming platforms such as Spotify\, videoclips and live performances on their Youtube channel.
